We are currently hiring a Sheet Metal Worker (3rd Year, 4th Year, or Journeyman) in Edmonton to work on a mix of commercial projects and residential walk-ups. The Sheet Metal Worker is responsible for installing and fabricating ducting and HVAC systems for a combination of commercial projects and residential walk-ups in Edmonton. This role requires working at heights, so Fall Pro and EWP (Elevated Work Platform) tickets are mandatory to ensure safety compliance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Install and fabricate ducting and HVAC systems for commercial and residential walk-up projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation and compliance with specifications.
  • Work at heights using elevated platforms, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other trades, such as electricians and plumbers, to meet project timelines.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment on-site.

 

Requirements:

  • 3rd/4th Year or Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker certification
  • Red Seal preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with a mix of commercial and residential walk-up projects.
  • Valid Fall Pro and EWP (Elevated Work Platform) tickets.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Additional safety tickets (e.g., CSTS, WHMIS) are an asset.
